International Experience
All of our work for international clients (clients outside of North America) has been custom work benefitting
and tailored for the needs of each individual client. These international projects typically involve 3 phases.
The Phase 1 scope includes benchmarking their fields against peer ("like kind") fields selected from Ziff Energy's database. This diagnostic work is to identify
performance "gaps".
The Phase 2 scope involves a focus on Best Practices related specifically to the practice area(s) with the greatest potential benefit to the client, i.e. those areas where performance "gaps" involving significant costs were identified by the diagnostic work of Phase 1 (e.g. Well Servicing of Automation). Implementation plans are developed for specific operations improvement initiatives.
Phase 3 scope typically involves implementation support services for operations improvement initiatives.
Specific examples of our international projects are provided under
Experience Profile.
Ziff Energy Expansion Continues
The firm has now completed work in every country but one in South America with oil & gas production. UAE becomes the 36th country where Ziff Energy has
benchmarked upstream operations. The graph below shows the history of the firm’s global expansion into new countries since we first began benchmarking operations in
1994 in Canada, with significant spurts of expansion in 2000, 2005, 2007, 2009 &
2010. With new global benchmarking assignments for 2 Super-Majors, Ziff Energy's world
database of 3,850+ fields should expand to cover 40 countries by our 30th Anniversary.
