Rehabilitation & Development of Mature Fields
Ziff Energy has analyzed over a hundred leading E&P companies worldwide during the last 16+ years,
gaining in the process a unique operating perspective from a diverse number of operators.
This experience is the basis of a field development model that involves the re-activation and
development of a mature field. For this type of project, the scope of work has been structured into two stages:
The first stage is a "Pilot Project" that includes optimizing all gathering, production and treating facilities.
Each activity related to the rehabilitation and development process is evaluated and validated as a separate Module
following a strict methodological process.
The result of this work facilitates structuring the technical templates associated with each module, for application
during the "factory" development phase. Pilot Modules include a Static Model, Reserves Calculation,
Well Testing - Design and Evaluation, Well Drilling and Completion Design and Well Repair, Design of
Artificial Lift Systems, Producing Fluid Analysis and Treatment, and Produced Water Management, Review and
Optimization of Surface Facilities.
Upon completion of first stage, the Pilot stage, a "Master Well Rehabilitation and Field Development Plan"
is prepared which will be the tool for implementation of the "factory" development approach. Building upon
Ziff Energy's solid experience in field operating efficiency studies, this project involves a cross-disciplinary team
of dedicated geoscientists and engineering professionals to realize the field development goals.
